What does it mean to go green?

Going green means that you are making 

choices to help protect the environment and 

natural resources for current and future 

generations.

How can we go green?

We can help protect the environment by 

practicing the three R's:

Reduce 

Reuse 

Recycle

How can we reduce?

We can reduce the amount of toxins that are 

emitted into the air by walking or riding a 

bicycle instead of driving a car. 

What does reusing mean?

Reusing materials means using things in their 

original form instead of throwing them away. 

Instead of buying plastic water bottles you can 

reuse washable mugs or sports bottles to help 

eliminate the amount of waste being thrown 

away.
