JANUARY 2ND

That noise-that wretched thumping noise 

coming from the floor. To think I'm the only 

one here, that thumping must mean I am 

sharing this house of one with another. The 

constant tolling sounds of thumps are making 

me go insane! It seems to follow me 

wherever I go. Can you hear it? Please tell me 

you can. I covet those who can't.

JANUARY 25TH

The thumping is consuming my most 

inner thoughts. I must tell someone-

but will they call me crazy? I beg for 

impuity from the thumping. It seems 

as though you think i'm crazy-but I'm 

perfectly sane! As I write this all I 

can hear is that blasted thumping. 

Maybe it's the devil finally answering 

my prayer of immolation-no mad 

indeed would I be to expect 

that....then again it could be the 

devil's minions knocking-no no how 

absurd.

FEBRURY 3RD

When will that thumping be 

terminated? I pray to God every night 

for my sanity-but he never answers... 

The noise-it sounds as if a a loin and a 

chainsaw were fighting. Does that 

make sense? Of course it does, 

everything I saw makes sense 

because.... I'm not insane...and if I 

were that wouldn't have made sense.

FEBRUARY 20TH

I took their advice about the doctor, even 

though I'm not crazy-I just want to know if the 

Doctor could hear it. He gave me some pills 

and told me to inform him if they worked. I 

don't know why he gave me these. They must 

be for my sleeping problem-considering that 

thumping had been keeping me up all night.

FEBRUARY 29TH

These pills have not helped me sleep at all! If 

anything the pills made everything worse! The 

thumping quieted down-that's only because 

the voices are louder. Everyone hears the 

voices right? I can assure you I'm perfectly 

sane. Someone please make the voices stop!!
