Once upon a time in a field far away lived the Royal flower 

family. Not too far off in the Butterfly house lived Queen 

Titania and King Oberon. Back at the field the royal flowers 

were getting ready for the wedding of Theseus, the duke 

and Hippolyta, the soon-to-be Duchess. 

One day Hermia the prettiest flower in the bouquet, was 

brought before Theseus by her mother, Egeus, to discuss who 

she would marry. Egeus believed that she should be wed to 

the most handsome flower in all the field, Demitruis. 

However, Hermia did not love Demitrius, she was in love with 

Lysander. 

"I will give you to choices." said Egeus. "Either marry 

Demitrius or you will die!". Thesus thought that Egeus 

may have been a little too harsh so he gave poor 

Hermia one other choice. "Or you could go into a 

convent." Hermia was not happy with the choices she 

had been given so she decided to just run away with 

Lysander. 

Outside Theseus's court, Hermia ran into her best 

friend, Helena. Helena was not very happy because 

she was in love with Demetrius and her best friend 

was marrying him. :Helena, it's not fair to blame me 

for marrying Demetrius. I didn't get to choose." "Well 

don't you love Lysander?Shouldn't you be with him?" 

"I don't have a choice, Helena, otherwise I would be 

with Lysander. 

AS Hermia and Lysander were running away to his 

Uncle's house, On drury lane, Hermia turned to 

Lysander and said "Oh how I love you, I'm so happy 

that we are going to be together." "Me too Hermia, 

me too."

Demetrius decides to follow Hermia and 

Lysander. Helena chases after Demetrius. 

"Helena, I don't like you." "It's okay 

Demetrius one day you will realize out true 

love for each other." "I'm trying to find 

Hermia so leave me alone." "She loves 

Lysander not you, so why can't we just be 

together?

Demetrius, followed by Helena, finally found Hermia and 

Lysander, lost and in a strange butterfly house. "Hermia, 

you need to come back with me, your mother will not be 

happy." "NO! I love Lysander, my mother's not going to 

come between us." Helena interrupting, "Stop being so 

selfish Hermia! She obviously won't come, Demetrius. so 

why waste your time?" "Listen to Helena, Demetrius, we 

just want to be together." Said Lysander

Oberon and Titania start to argue about who will 

keep the Indian Boy as a slave. "Titania, why must 

you be so selfish?" "Oberon, I am the lady, I get 

what I want, and I want the Indian Boy!" "Once 

again, you are being too selfish. I'm the only one 

that does anything, I need the help." Titania sighs. 

Oberon wants the Indian   Boy and will do 

anything to get it. He puts a love spell on 

Titania hoping she would love him and do 

anything for him, which means she would let 

him have the Indian Boy. Unfortunately the 

spell never wore off and Titania now has 

everlasting love for Oberon.

Oberon overhears the lovers arguing about who will be 

with who, and thinks of an idea. "Puck! Come here. I 

want you to put one of these love spells of Demetrius 

and Lysander while they are sleeping. "How does that 

work?" asks Puck. "Well you rub this on their eyelids and 

whoever they see when they wake up will be who they 

love. But remember the right girl."

Helena is walking along and finds Lysander and 

Demetrius. They wake up and fall in love with her. "Oh 

Helena, I love you so much! You are the one I want." 

Hahaha, I don't like you playing a joke on me." said 

Helena. "I get it, you won't ever love me. Just stop 

messing around!" "But Helena, this isn't a joke! We do 

love you!" Helena is angry and goes off to find Hermia.
