There once was a sponge, 

and he lived in a 

pineapple under the sea.  

His name was Spongebob 

Squarepants.   Spongebob 

lived in a town called 

bikini bottom.   Little 

did he know, that bikini 

bottom actually meant 

much more than he 

thought it did.

Spongebob worked at the 

Krusty Krab, which was 

the town’s favorite 

place to get a Krabby 

Patty.   The Krusty Krab 

owned by Mr Krabs, was a 

rival restaurant with 

the Chum Bucket owned by 

Plankton.  

 Plankton did everything in 

his power to steal the Krabby 

Patty recipe, which was the 

formula for Mr. Krabs 

success.   Spongebob was a 

fry cook at the Krusty Krab 

and was usually oblivious to 

what was happening.

A frequent customer to the 

Krusty Krab was Spongebob’s 

best friend, a starfish named 

patrick who lived under a 

rock.   Patrick was an 

unemployed starfish who was 

lazy, unmotivated, and 

simple. Spongebob and 

Patrick always annoyed their 

neighbor, squidward 

throughout the day. 

Squidward was a squid who live 

in a house that looked like his 

face. He also worked at the Krusty 

Krab as the cashier, which he did 

not enjoy because he thought that 

he deserved more. He was very 

unhappy with his job and life, 

and wanted to get as far away as 

possible from other people.   What 

all the characters did not know, 

was that one day everything would 

go downhill. 

One October day in 1998, it was 

a normal, and typical day in 

Bikini Bottom.   Birds chirping, 

and a slight breeze coming in 

from the south.   Spongebob had 

just arrived at work, and was 

ready for another busy and great 

day.  

He had just finished up 

preparing the first round of 

Krabby Patties and was talking 

to Patrick, when Mr. Krab’s 

said, “Spongebob, I need you 

to go to the freezer and get 

more Krabby Patties”.  

Spongebob went to the freezer 

and suddenly he was in 

shock, there were no more 

Krabby Patties.

Spongebob went to the freezer

Krabby Patties.   Spongebob 

quickly ran out of the freezer 

took a hard turn right and 

stood in front of Mr. Krabs.  

Spongebob was panicked and 

quickly said, “Mr Krabs, there, 

there, there,” Mr Krabs said 

“Spit it out”, “there’s no more 

Krabby Patties!!!!!!!!” said 

Spongebob.
