Sara woke up at 8 o'clock in the morning to get ready for her first day of grade 2.

Sara washed up, combed her long brown hair and changed into her brand new clothes.

Sara had cereal for breakfast with her mom, and then helped clean up when they were done.

She reached school and was excited to see so many people. She loved making friends!

Sara was walking down the hall, when by mistake, she bumped into a boy, named Riley and his bag fell. He yelled at her, and made her cry.

She ran in the bathroom and cried until her shirt was all wet. She had never been yelled at before.

Sara was upset throughout the whole day. Everyone danced and played, but she just sat at her desk. Soon, the bell rang and Sara went home.

Sara told her mom about everything that happened at school with Riley. Her mom told Sara that everything will be fine, but it got worse.
