Once upon a modern time, in an apartment building in the Bronx, lived a happy family. The mom and her five children knew what made them so happy, it was the Love that grew! From time to time, the children liked to hear their mom speak about the love that had formed the earth, the animals, and mankind.

One glorious Sunday morning, the eldest son, had been awakened by the sweet melody of the birds that chirped cheerfully in a near by willow tree. As the wind blew in between the branches fresh air traveled into the boy's lungs. This tree not only produced oxygen, it also was the home of the happy birdies who had awakened him. He smelled the aroma of cheese patelitos, mom must be in the kitchen making breakfast he thought.

As he walked into the kitchen, he saw his two younger brothers labeling pictures of fruits with their corresponding names. He read each fruits name, feeling proud because he could read all of the words in front of him. His two younger sisters sat at the table, waiting for their mommy to bring the plate of fritters to their family breakfast. While they waited, they feasted upon some of the same fruits as the pictures that their brothers were labeling.

All the children sat around the table, giving thanks to Love that they had food to eat and family to call friends. Then the youngest of them all let out a joyous cry and said, "food good!" He had just taken a bite of his breakfast and he let everyone know he was satisfied.

The kids let their mom know how grateful they were for her ability to cook. They asked her "what's your secret?" The mother let out a shy smile and said "you know". They said "we want to know more!"
She began with a familiar phrase, "we are all made of Love. The sun, the flowers, even the turtles are made out of Love, but today it is the panda who will teach us all a lesson".
This mother often made stories for them to reflect upon later in life. "The secret to it all, is that with love everything works its self out. Come and listen for awhile, let the words give you something to smile about".

One day, while mommy panda was getting dinner ready for her baby pandas, the second to last panda asked mommy panda, "why do the green leaves taste so yummy to us pandas?"
11
Mommy panda grinned at the question. This was a trick question. All of her baby pandas knew why the green leafy goodness was so tasty, but mommy panda knew why her loving pandas wanted to hear the story that had been passed down from great great panda grandparents from long ago.

12
She began the story like she always did, handing out long bamboos, for the baby pandas to nibble on. They waited excitedly, to dive into the tale of rainbows in the skies and Loves that never die.
Everyone waited for mommy panda to bang the drum, as a sign that the special story was about to be recited.
