Jack lives in the country. Or some might say a rural area of his community. Jack lives with his mom in a small house. They do not have many neighbors at all.

Jack's mom is a nurse. She works in the city at the hospital. She has to commute from the country to the city for work.

One day, Jack goes to work with his mom. Jack liked visiting his mom's workplace but he missed his cousin, Olivia. Olivia lived in the city. "Mom, do I have to stay with you all day? Can't I go visit Olivia instead?" said Jack.

Olivia and her parents live in the city. They live in an apartment, instead of a house like Jack. Olivia has many neighbors. Olivia lives in an urban area of their community.

Jack's mother says, "Alright Jack, you can go visit Olivia, but Uncle Dan is going to come with you to keep you two safe."Uncle Dan is Olivia's dad. Jack hurries along to meet up with Olivia.

"Bye mom!", says Jack.

Jack meets up with Olivia and Uncle Dan. Uncle Dan is a police officer. Jacks feels sure that he will be safe with him.

"Olivia we need to show Jack around the city." ,says Uncle Dan. "Come on kids!", he says.
