The circulatory system transports materials throughout the entire body. These materials include water, nutrients, and carbon dioxide.
The three parts that make up the circulatory system are the heart, blood, and blood Vessels

The heart is a muscle that pumps the blood throughout your entire body. It is about the size of your fist, and it is located in the center and slightly to the left of your chest.

4
Because the heart is a muscle, it needs to be worked out to make it stronger. Some exercises that help the heart are running, jumping jacks, and burpees, just to name a few.
These exercises increase your heart rate, which is how you give your heart a workout.

5
Keep your heart healthy by exercising regularly, eating healthy, drinking plenty of water, and not smoking!

6
The blood is the second component in the circulatory system, and it is made up of three parts: blood cells, platelets, and plasma.

7
The two types of blood cells are the red blood cells and the white blood cells. Both types of the blood cells are made in bone marrow.
Red blood cells pick up oxygen in the lungs, and exchanges it for carbon dioxide from cells before traveling back to the lungs to make the switch again. This is why we inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide.

8
White blood cells help fight off germs as part of the immune system. Your body produces more white blood cells than normal when it needs to fight off a virus, infection, or another type of illness. Doctors will also prescribe you an antibiotic to help our white blood cells fight a larger scale infection.
