It all began like this...
On a fateful afternoon while caught out in a storm, Martin Luther was nearly struck by lightning.

He felt like this storm was a signal from god to spread his love for god and
not become a lawyer like his parents wanted.

The more he learned, the more he felt that the Catholic Church had gone bad.
He collected a list of 95 different points where he felt that the Church was wrong.

Martin wrote these 95 points on a placard,
then he nailed it to the door of the Catholic Church in Germany

Martin wrote in his theses we should listen to the bible and not let the pope tell us how we are supposed to live.

He also said only god can decide where you go after you die.
