Nanny Makes a Surprise Visit

     Nanny Kim worked hard in a small but flourishing pizza shop in the small town of Rothesay. She would work harder on the weekends just so she could save money. Nanny Kim had three very beautiful grandchildren who lived very far away. She missed them very much. When she had saved enough money she would make special plans to surprise her loving family.

     Nanny Kim packed up her car and headed out very early on Saturday morning. It would be a very long drive but it was worth every mile. She longed to hold her grandbabies in her arms and share her unconditional love. Surprising her grandchildren was so much fun for everyone.

     When she arrived she would park her car behind the bushes along side of the house so no one could see her. She would get out of her car and step up to the front door and knock. The front door slowly opened and she was so happy.

     The door slowly opened and there stood the prettiest little blonde haired girl. Her smile was as big as the moon.

     'Nanny! Nanny!. You come to see me. Mommy, Nanny is here' screamed Peyton excitedly. Peyton ran into nanny's arms. Peyton's mommy, Rebecca, stepped into view with open arms. It was always a surprise to see Nanny Kim. Peyton's daddy, Shawn, was in the navy working on the big ships. He would be home real soon.

     Peyton was like every little grandchild when grandparents came to visit.

     'Did you bring me some gifts nanny? I like lots of gifts' Peyton asked with so much excitement in her voice. Nanny picked Peyton up in her arms and carried her to the big couch. She teasingly lifted the gifts from her surprise bag. Peyton's big blue eyes sparkled with happiness as she opened her first gift. It was a pair of pink high heels with purple straps.

     'I love these shoes Nanny. Purple and pink are my favorite colors. They are so pretty' Peyton replied thanking nanny with a very big hug. Nanny Kim was so happy to see how much her little granddaughter was as she played with her new shoes. Nanny was ready to join the family for a delicious meal. Just as they sat down to eat Peyton's daddy, Shawn, walked up quietly behind nanny Kim and gave her a giant hug. Nanny Kim was not the only one who was good at surprises. Shawn brought in the family pets to show Nanny Kim how much they have grown.

     Bernie the dog and Sneezie the cat were jumping all over the place with excitement. Nanny Kim did not forget to bring special gifts for them too. It was getting late and everyone was tired. Nanny wanted to get Peyton all tucked in for the night but not before reading her one of their favorite books. Peyton and nanny cuddled close. It was not long before everyone was sound asleep.
