Ants live in nest communities. The ants decide whether to build their habitat under ground or as a hill above the ground.

Baboons are found in very tall trees or on the edge of cliffs. Baboons try to stay close to areas with water, but if they can't find a body of water they lick the rain off of their coats to stay hydrated.

Camels live in the desert. Camels like to live in climates with hot temperatures, but they can survive in cold climates too.

Dolphins are found in all bodies of water around the world. They like to stay close to the surface and they travel in pods.

Emperor Penguins live on ice and in the waters surrounding Antarctica. Emperor Penguins have four layers of feathers to keep them warm.

The frog's habitat is near a pond or a swamp. Frogs do not drink water, instead they absorb the water through their skin.

Giraffes live among tall grassy plains in Africa. Their habitat consists of large open areas because they need room for their tall bodies.

Hippos inhabit areas with large bodies of water in Africa. Hippos spend up to 16 hours underwater.

Iguanas are native to rain forests and live within the canopies. Iguanas are the largest form of lizards and average around six and a half feet long.

Jaguars live in wet lowland habitats. The jaguar is also the largest cat in the Americas.

Koalas are found in a variety of places, mainly they are found in tall eucalypt forests. Koalas have a small pouch where they keep their babies.

Lions live on grassy plains in Africa. Adult male lions weigh on average from 300 to 500 pounds.

Mice are found in burrows or nests in the ground. They like to eat grains and fruit, which is why they are found damaging crops on farms.

Nurse sharks are typically found in coral reefs and in channels between the mangroves. Nurse sharks are not considered aggressive sharks.

Octopus live at the very on the bottom of the ocean floor. They hide in burrows and in coral rock.

Polar bear live on Arctic Sea ice and sleep in holes they make in the snow. Polar bears have the thickest fur of all the bears.

Quails live in shrubs on the sides of hills surrounded by tall grass areas. Quails do not fly, so it is easier to hide in the tall grass while looking for their food.

Rabbits live in underground burrows that we call "rabbit holes." Wild rabbits can live in multiple temperature climates.
