Cats were first domesticated by the ancient Egyptians. They were worshiped like gods.
This was an evolution because the cats got smaller, stopped roaring, and turned into what we know as house cats

Domesticated cats are strict carnivores like other cats. They have a very hard time digesting plants. Most people don't take that into consideration when feeding cats.

It is believed that all cats have the same common ancestor. The original cats were the first of the felines that eventually evolved into domesticated cats, lions, ocelots, cheetahs, etc.
