The R.M.S. Titanic was the biggest and best ship built. It had four funnels. I was so excited to be on the ship headed for America.

We left on the Titanic's maiden voyage was on April 10, 1912. It was to sail from South Hampton, England to New York, USA. The Captain was John Smith.

On April 14, 1912, the ship was sailing at night. It was foggy. Fredrick Fleet was in the crows nest with Reginald Lee. He saw a black mass ahead and yelled, "Iceberg straight ahead. He rang 3 bells and called the bridge.
