Surprising as it is, Poseidon is not just God of the Sea, but God of Earthquakes and Horses. Poseidon, also known as "Earth Shaker", can cause earthquakes when he strikes the ground with his trident. His main way of transportation was a chariot pulled by seahorses, and since he is the god of horses, he could adopt the shape of a steed. He also created the first horse and he created a Pegasus with help from Medusa

The trident is a three- pronged spear, and it is the weapon of Poseidon. The trident was made by the fallen god Hephaestus along with the Thunderbolt and the Pitchfork. Poseidon first used his trident when he went to the underworld. He caused earthquakes, tsunami, and sea storms with his trident.
