After a social studies lesson at school, Willie was so excited to go home and look at his globe.  He wished to travel and learn about the world.

Willie looks at all the continents on his globe: North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Antarctica, Asia, and Australia.

Willie fell asleep that night and dreamt.  He dreamt of the continents and what he would do if he could visit them.  It was a wonderful adventure.

First Willie visited the statue of liberty in New York City, New York.  That's in the United States of America.  The statue of liberty is an icon of freedom and of the united states.

Next Willie travels roughly 2,947 miles to Banos, Ecuador, inSouth America, where he swings on the swing at the end of the world.   This swing is 100 feet up in the air across from a volcano.

After seeing Ecuador, Willie travels roughly 7,363 miles to Egypt, in Africa. Here he sees the great pyramids of Giza in Giza City, Giza, Egypt.  Khufu, the first and largest pyramid was built over a 20 year period.  These pyramids are over 3,800 years old!

From Africa, Willie travels roughly 2,365 miles to Wiltshire England, in Europe, to see Stonehenge.  This site is believed to be 6,500 years old.  It is a stone monument believed to be used for rituals.
