. BSS 40th Anniversary

To celebrate BSS 40th anniversary, number of activities were arranged to pay tribute to the Alma Mater on 4th November,2015. On 4th of November special assembly was conducted in which BH shared BSS history .The chairperson ‘s Mrs. Nasreen Kasuri’s message was telecasted followed by cake cutting and balloon releasing ceremony. Students dedicated songs and enjoyed achocolates as the birthday treat. Throughout the week students talked about BSS history, its accomplishments and prepared birthday cards and posters for BSS in Homerooms . Chief Exequtive :Mr Kasim Kasuri Message was also shared with the students, staff and uploaded on the school facebook page as well.

Salute to our Heroes

To remember the sacrifices of our brave tigers of Pakistan Army in 1965, Defence Day was celebrated at BM Cantt, Multan on 7th September.We invited Maj. Usman father of Urshia Usman (ClassI) Col. Saeed Father of Sussain Saeed (Class I), Lt. Fawad and Maj. Majid for this occasion and they honoured us with their presence. They conducted talks regarding heroic deeds of martyr and role of army. School choir enthralled the audience by heartwarming national songs. The documentary on 1965 war also played .The BH Ma’am Iram Muddassir presented souvenirs to the .worthy guests

Dignity Day Celebration

Various activities were planned for the students to celebrate UNO 70th Anniversary and Dignity Day on 21st October,2015. Such as: UNO Wall, Dignity Messages, Dignitaries Wall, Poster making and kindness stories on photo story software. Kindness stories competition was also held .All students participated in each activity and their enthusiasm was a treat to watch. These all activities spread the message to respect all members of society and to uphold the five dignity principles. To make students aware about the UNO functions and its charter a special UNO Wall was also prepared in school on which the function and its charter was displayed . students pasted the notes in what way its working to make World a better place for all of us.

Annual Award Ceremony

To recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the students and unwavering effort of the teachers and the parents of the BSS Cantt Branch Multan, the Annual Award Ceremony was held at Multan Garrison Mess on January 28, 2016. Mr Khawaja Jaluldin Roomi graciously consented to be the Chief Guest. The student’s council led by the school head girl Fatima Raza presented the bouquet. Branch Head Ms Iram Muddassir welcomed all guests and talked about the achievements of the branch and appreciated the cooperation of parents in all matters. During the ceremony, medals and cups were given away to students. A letter of appreciation was given to all teachers for organizing the first Open Day held on May,2015.The chief guest congratulated the students on their excellent results and emphasized their role in shaping the future. Ms Iram Muddassir presented a memento to the chief guest. The guests were entertained by the scrumptious tea in MGM grounds

Beaconhouse Learning Festival

To acquaint BSS parents with BSS learning environment and new styles in teaching, Beaconhouse Learning Festival was also arranged at Cantt Branch, Multan with the cooperation of the SGOIII and Head Office on 13th March,2016. BSS and Non BSS parents were invited.

The following camps were set up such as: Aerobics Club, Music Room,Taekwondo Club,Fun Land, Story World, Learning Through Technology, Project based Learning, Art Camp, World of science, Language lab, Picture Booth, and Food Court and much more activities for the children. There was a special workshop arranged on teaching Urdu with IT ,Urdu storytelling and Child Protection Policy. The ones who visited all camps received the token of appreciation from school PRO. The visitors enjoyed each and every activity at the festival and their appreciation was a source of encouragement for the entire faculty of BM Ca

Pakistan Day

To commemorate Lahore Resolution,1940 and to pay homage to our founders Pakistan Day was celebrated at BM Cantt with great zeal and fervor on 22nd March,2016. The staff and students dressedup in white and green . The Early years prepared special green Bandanas with vegetable printed Star and Moon .Different competitions such as: colouring, poster making, leaflet making, stamp designing, poem writing and essay writing were held. The day ended up with special assembly, in which all the winners were acknowledged with the certificates for their efforts and a cake cutting ceremony.

Anthropometric Competition

To identify optimal strength of body, hand, and wrist measurements in order to correctly gauge individuals mental and physical growth and stamina, Anthropometric Competition of class VI was also held at Cantt Branch, Multan . The following competition were involved such as: Sit and Reach Test, Standing Broad Jump, Agility Run Test, Vertical Jump, 30 Metre Sprint and 20 metre Beep Test. To involve community, the children from SOS school were also invited. They participated in the competitions as well and won the trophies

Farewell Party

The Admin, staff &students arranged a beautiful farewell party for the students of class VI on the evening of 6th May, 2016.The dress code for the girls was indigo and for boys white shirts and black pants. The students of classes IV and V prepared funny skits and the tapped their feet on Hollywood tracks. Further, they also enjoyed a delightful variety of eatables and took the pleasure of being together all over again. The Class VI paid tribute to their teachers and support staff. The Branch Head Ma’am Iram Muddassir presented the mementos to the outgoing class.

Grandparents’ Day

Grandparents are a delightful blend of laughter, wonderful deeds, stories and love. To express our gratitude and love to our grandparents, Grandparents’ Day was celebrated at BM Cantt, Multan on 23rd September.

Students talked about their grandparents and prepared cards with beautiful messages. They presented card to their grandparents, took a picture and send us through what’s app on the number provided by the school. The IT in charge uploaded all the precious clicks on official Facebook page of Cantt Branch, Multan.

Homeroom with Branch Head

To raise awareness regarding threats to the children in the outer world & internet and to equip our students with the skills needed to handle them : the homerooms for all levels were conducted by all levels. She introduced the BSS E-safety policy and BSS Child Protection Policy. Later students prepared posters in which they highlighted danger in the outer world and on internet.

Safer Internet

To acquaint the students with the E-Safety policy a special homeroom was conducted for the student council members. The student council in turn cascaded the information to their class fellows during the homerooms. The Head girl monitored the presentations

Urdu Week

To highlight the importance of our national language the Urdu department planned to celebrate Urdu Week across the Centre region. Students and teachers participated in number of activities. The choir sang beautiful poems and on the other hand our young performers clad in attractive costumes enacted the verses. Bait Bazi competition was the highlight of this week where our students surprised us with their strong memory and wonderful collection of the verses of a great poet.
