Michael Jackson was born on August 29, 1958. His mom’s name was Katherine and his dad, Joe, was a guitarist. Michael has 10 brothers and sisters! Wow! I know! His sisters were Janet, La Toya, Rebbie, and Joh'vonnie Jackson. His brothers were Randy, Jermaine, Tito, Marlon, Jackie, and Brandon Jackson. Michael is the third youngest, following Randy, then Janet as the youngest.

When Michael was 5, he joined his brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, and Marlon in the Jackson 5, and Joe was their manager. He believed his children had true talent. Michael was the lead singer, Tito was a lead guitarist, Jermaine was a bass guitarist, while Jackie and Marlon were backup singers.

When Michael was only 13 years old, he decided to sing on his own while still being the lead singer for the Jackson 5. In 1971, Michael’s album, “Got to be There” was on the top 100 chart. His other album,“Ben”, became a number 1 single on the billboard chart. Michael was so popular and everybody loved his music!
