Bobby was a normal teenage boy living in 

Chicago during the February. He wakes up 

one morning, takes a shower, and looks in 

the mirror except.... There's nothing to 

look at.. He is invisible.

Bobby panics and tells his parents and his parents 

don't believe him so he does some little tricks for 

them like putting a spoon on his nose, drinking 

orange juice and eating eggs. His parents finally 

believe him and tell him to tell NO ONE about the 

incident.

Bobby goes to the library again a few days later and 

sees Alicia again. Alicia and Bobby talk and when Alicia 

accidentally grabs Bobby's armpit, she discovers he is 

invisible. Of course, Alicia tells her parents. 

Bobby goes to the library to see what it feels like to be 

invisible and he accidentally runs into Alicia. Bobby is 

panicked except   he realizes Alicia is blind.

Bobby's parents get into a car accident on their 

way from work. Bobby finds a way to see his 

parents at the hospital. His parents were okay and 

were going to be released soon.

Bobby remains invisible so he decides to go to the 

library again. He then see Alicia there and decides 

to talk to her. Alicia and Bobby become friends and 

he walks her home. Alicia accidentally touches 

Bobby's armpit and Bobby confesses to her that 

he is invisible. 

Bobby ends up in the missing persons list and his 

parents say he is sick with the flu and is living in 

Florida with his Aunt Ethel. The police and social 

worker say that they have 5 days to get Bobby back 

safe and sound.

Alicia's family is informed about Bobby and they became 

concerned. Alicia and Bobby's parents get together to 

have pizza and discuss Bobby's problem. 

Since both of their fathers are scientists they use 

science to try to figure out why Bobby is invisible. They 

come up with a hypothesis that Bobby's electric blanket is 

what is causing the problem.

Bobby and Alicia come up with an idea to try to see 

if anyone else who used the blanket became 

invisible. Both of them decide to go to the Sears 

building since that's where they where the blanket 

is from.
