A little girl named Alice lived in a tiny house. “Can I go to school,” asked Alice. Alice’s mom felt nervous butterflies fluttering in her stomach when Alice asked to go to school. Alice was not nervous and hoped that she could go to school to make some friends. Alice’s mom had home schooled Alice for three years in the tiny house. Alice’s mom told her that she could go just to make friends but she would have to be picked up right after recess. Although Alice wanted to go to school for the entire day she felt that this was better than not going to school at all.

Alice was amazed on her first day of school. Everybody was not so nice on her first day but she found one girl that was really nice to her. Alice only needed one friend to be happy. Alice's new friend's name was Olivia. Each day they did everything together. For example, Alice and Olivia played legos and painted together. Each day when it was time for recess Alice and Olivia would be so sad.

Each day the girls made new friends. The girls would play with their new friends. Some were girls and some were boys. Alice loved her new school so much that she would ask her mom each day if she could stay for the whole day.
