One day a fox was running through the enchanted forest to find his lost blue booties...

...when suddenly a turtle crawled out from beneath a bush. Fox said, "Hello turtle! Have you seen my blue booties?" Turtle replied, "No Fox, but maybe Owl has seen them!"

So Fox took off to find Owl and ask him.

Fox arrived at the Great Oak where the owl lived. He looked up at a branch and saw Owl knitting something blue.

Fox yelled, "Hey Owl! Are those my size for I am missing my booties!"

Owl replied, "You can see that these are for bear..."

...but maybe snake would know where they are!"

So Fox ventured forth.

Suddenly, he smelled a familiar scent. "Why those blue booties have got to be close by!"

He looked around on the ground and right in front of him were his blue booties! "Alas! I have finally found them!"

Fox picked them up and put them on. "Oh no!" he cried. "I am too big for these!"

He was so tired of looking, so he laid down and fell into a deep sleep and dreamed about his warm booties...
Um... I'd like my shoes please.

...when he remembered suddenly, they are in the fox hole down by the river! So he quickly trotted to the river's edge...
