Steve has a burrito fart!

This is Steve, he is 11.

He lives at Fillderwood.
But Steve was hungry...

I GOT AN IDEA!
said Steve.
But before he could do anything his sister came in.

Hey Steve! Look at what I learned today!
Identity Property of Multiplicatation is any number multiplied by 1 stays the same. Ex: 3 x 1 = 3
Identity Property of Addition states that the sum of zero and any number or variable is the number or variable itself.
Ex: 4 + 0 = 4 -10 + 0 = -10 The number keeps its "identity"
Equivalent Expressions are equal to each other because they have the same value when simplified.
Numerical Expressions contains numbers and operations Ex: +,-,x,/
Algebraic Expressions contains variables. Ex: x, n, b, y.
Expressions is the mathematical phrase , numerical coefficient, variable,,constant equation. Ex: 3x + 6 = 12
Exponents number times itself and times itself again
Ex: 2 x 2 x 2 = 8

Steve called the burrito truck.

The burrito truck came in seconds.
Hot Tip: The burritos are $2.00.

I want to get 3 burritos at $2.00 ea.
Hmmm. How am I going to figure this out....

I can use Repeated Addition adding the same number (addend ) over and over.
Ex: 2 + 2 + 2 OR I can you use Multiplication 3 x 2
Did you know that Factors (3, 2) are numbers that you multiplied together to get a Product. 3 x 2 = 6
WOW
There is Commutative Property in Addition. Changing the order of addends does not change the sum. 2 + 3 = 5 3 + 2 = 5
But wait a minute....
There is Commutative Property in Multiplication. You can multiply factors in any order and you will ALWAYS get the same product. 2 x 3 = 6 3 x 2 = 6
This is crazy!!!

He bought his burritos.

and Steve is taking the bite of the burrito.
