It was a dark, stormy night and four girls named Kyra, Andie, Alyssa and Sarah were at the mall on their way to the jewelry store.

When they got there an alarm went off and everyone was running out of the store. Someone stole the ruby!

When Sarah got home that night she thought a little bit more about what happened at the store that night and she decided to do do some research. She found out that there has been more than one store that got robbed. One thief she saw was a girl named Amanda.

The next day, the girls met Sarah at her house. She told them about Amanda and how she has robbed a few stores. The girls came up with an idea where they could talk to the one in charge of the mall and see if they could have permission to go to the mall at 10:00 to investigate. He said yes!
