Dark matter is invisible to the naked eye but when you look up into space and see black spots between stars, that's dark matter!

Earth!
Earth is the planet we live on!
It is the third planet from the Sun.
F is for Flare!
A solar flare is when the energy in the magnetic field around the sun explodes!
G is for Galaxy!
A galaxy is a system of stars held together by gravity! We are in the Milky Way Galaxy.
H is for Hubble!
The Hubble Space Telescope was launched in 1990 and orbits our planet every day!
I is for ISS!
ISS, short for International Space Station, is a space station that orbits the planet and is shared by every one on Earth!
J is for Jupiter!
Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system and is the 5th planet from the sun! It's known for it's giant red spot!
K is for the Kuiper Belt!
The Kuiper Belt is an area in our solar system, past Neptune, that has a lot of comets and asteroids!
L is for Lunar!
Lunar refers to anything having to do with the moon!
M is for Mars!
Mars is the 4th planet from the sun and is the only one that we have landed on!
N is for Neptune!
Of all the planets in our solar system, Neptune is the farthest of them all! It's also the coldest because it's so far away from the sun!
O is for Orbit!
Each planet travels at it's own pace around the sun, that's called it's orbit!




P is for Planet!
A planet is a giant body that orbits around the sun. Each one is unique!
