Prologue : Diego lives in a house in the Atacama desert in Chile with his mom. Alejandro lives with his dad in the city. They are very rich. With that Alejandro became greedy. Diego’s and Alejandro’s dad betrayed their mom. Now the 2 brothers almost never see each other...

Once upon a time there was a wise and very nice boy named Diego Gonzalez. His mother said to go hunt some huemul*. So, he went with his llama to the red deer territory with his bow and arrows.

*Huemul- A Southern Andean

After a while he grew hungry and tired so he decided to go to a nearby village to get some food.

When Diego arrived to the village, he met a man . The man knew that Diego was from a different village because his clothing was a woolen chamanto, while his was a cotton chamanto. He traded his 5 Chilean corn humatas for Diego's bow. Diego ate the corn humatas and wanted rest. He walked through the village until he got to a light house.

Ahh, SOMEONE came!

Finally!

When he got to the shack, Diego was surprised to see an old woman named Valentina. She was relieved that somebody actually came. Diego went to a room and slept for the night. In the morning, he was asked to go get the bucket and milk ALL the cows .

Diego milked all the cows first thing in the morning. There were 5 cows that Diego had to milk. The milk was pure gold. he wanted to steal it but did not. When he was finished he went inside the house to get some food.

When he got to the diner table, Valentina sat first, then Diego sat after her. Valentina gave him a bunch of grapes and said to throw it on the ground. Diego thought this was weird, but did it anyway.

Diego was astonished in what he saw was a charquican stew in front of him. The grape regrew and he had a full plump again. He ate it and and thanked Valentina. Diego started for home to tell his mother.

When he got to his home, Diego's mom wanted to know why he hadn't brought any food. Diego went inside and told everything. Diego's mom did not believe him, so he threw a grape at a plate.

Mom, I got magic grapes!
