Pinacosaurus

A medium sized dinosaur from the lands of China and Mongolia.

Lived during the Cretaceous period.

Its tail was used a means of defense against potential predators.

Edmontosaurus

A member of the duck billed dinosaur family, Hadrosaurid.

Some of the largest of their species, some measuring over 12 meters and heavier than 4 tons.

Due to its pattern of fossil discovery, this reptile is said to have preferred coastal areas.

Pterodactylus

More commonly known as Pterodactyl.

Said to have lived during the Jurassic Period, around 150 million years ago.

Many fossil samples have been discovered in what is considered modern day Africa and Europe.

Brachiosaurus

Originally named the "largest known dinosaur".

Fossil samples found mainly near what is now known as the Colorado river.

Described as having a very long neck, a small skull and a strong tail.

Velociraptor

Said to have lived during the Cretaceous Period approximately 75 million years ago.

Considered a medium sized dinosaur, typically ranging around 6 ft. 5 in. or greater.

In 2007 this species was confirmed to have had feathers.
