Once there was a town called Yawnsville. All the townspeople were excited about Christmas. Everyone was hurrying to finish decorating their town. The only sad thing was that nobody, not even the children, believed in Santa Claus. Well, all except one, Nia Collan.

Nia's family had decorated the tree, but they didn't put out milk and cookies because they did not believe in Santa. But as soon as they were asleep, Nia went down and put milk and cookies on a plate and some carrots for the reindeer.

"Merry Christmas

Santa Claus!"

"I wonder when Santa will come......" Nia said dreamily. "I can't wait to meet him someday!"

Then right when Nia started to doze off, she awoke to the sound of sleigh bells.

"It's Santa Claus!"

Right when Nia opened the living room door, just a crack, she saw Santa Claus putting Christmas presents under the Christmas tree.

Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!

" I saw Santa Claus!"

Nia raced back upstairs to her room and jumped up and down. "I saw Santa Claus! I saw Santa!"

"Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!"

As Santa rode away, he said joyfully, "Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!"

As everyone woke up, they all cheered as Christmas was here! People went straight for their presents and opened them up. The children received trains, dolls, play tools, candy, and many more fun things.
