One summer day Lily and Daisy were swimming through the deep blue sea.

Having nothing to do, they start racing to Daisy's house.

"Whoever gets there first is the prettiest mermaid alive!" Daisy exclaimed.

"You're on!" Lily excitingly said.

Swimming as fast as they could, they both got to Daisy's house first.

" I guess that means we're both the prettiest mermaids alive," Lily said.

"I guess. After all we do look alike!" Daisy exclaimed.

"It's like we're twins! Only difference is I always have a flower in my hair," Lily said smiling.

All of a sudden, Daisy starts to get sad. "There's something I have to tell you Lily,"

"What is it?" Lily says worriedly.

"I'm moving all the way across the ocean," She says with her head down.

Lily immediately starts to cry. " Why oh why? What am I going to do without you? You are my best friend, don't leave me!"

"It's going to be okay Lily. We're still going to be friends. You'll always be my friend!" Daisy said trying to cheer her up. Lily slowly stops to cry and calms down a bit.

"What if you forget about me?" Lily said scared.

"I could never! You can't be replaced," Said Daisy.
