A dedication to my child development class.
This is to 5 year olds and I wrote this story to show that many five year olds are starting to develop sharing skills. Also, they start to create friendships and also relationships with people outside of their family.

Sam was so excited for his first day of preschool. He loves to play but he is nervous to talk to other kids.

He meets his new teacher, Mr. Shepherd. He really likes him and he is really nice. Sam is still nervous to talk to anybody so he plays by himself.

After school he rides the bus home but he sits by himself.

His parents ask him if he made any friends. He tells them that he didn't.

His parents tell him that he should try and talk to them. He might even make a friend by sharing. Sam imagines making a friend.
