There once was an arctic fox,

small enough to fit inside a cardboard box.

She had no home,

so she was forced to roam.

Except for the cardboard box,

Avalanche was alone and had nothing of her own.

Her name was Avalanche and she was white as snow.

And her one and only hope was to have her time to glow.

Avalanche had no mom or dad,

and this, oh this, made her terribly sad.

Yet, she still went to school,

even though her classmates were cruel.

She's so weird!

They teased her about her size,

and never quite saw the sadness in her eyes.

One day, when she was sad and stressed,

and so sick and tired of trying to impress.
