Self-Esteem
Definition: Feeling confident in your abilities to do something or be useful.
Self-Esteem is very important in leading a healthy life-style.
Self-Esteem and Body Image
Body image and your self-esteem play a huge role in how you look. If you think negative thoughts about yourself, your body image will be poor whilst thinking positive thoughts about yourself helps you gain a healthy body image.
How Can You Improve Your Self-Esteem?
To improve self-esteem, start thinking positive thoughts. The goal is to improve the way you think about yourself. You can also do this by eating healthier.
Personal Experience
From personal experience, I've learned no one can really help you achieve good self-esteem. You can only help yourself, while yes, I can give you pointers on how to do it, but it's really up to you whether you want to achieve true good self-esteem by working for it.
Dating Guidelines
Characteristics of a healthy relationship vary, but some of are things such as both partners need to know they're responsible for their own individual happiness.
Another would be that conflict is met head-on, then dropped. This is important in a healthy relationship.
More Characteristics of a Healthy Relationship
Another characteristic would be that everything is balanced, everything is 50/50. This also leads into another characteristic, one partner is not controlling over the other. The last characteristic is that both of the partners need to be willing to put the relationship before themselves.
Characteristics of Un-Healthy Relationships
Just like there are many characteristics for healthy relationships, there are just as many for unhealthy relationships. The first sign is neglecting your partner and putting yourself before them. Another would be feeling pressure to change for the other person. Human nature dictates humans don't want to change.

More Characteristics of a Un-Healthy Relationship
Another sign would be if you feel like you shouldn't share your opinion because your partner my disagree. Another would be psychical violence in an argument and finally a lack of privacy proves your relationship is unhealthy
Conflict Resolution
Have you ever found yourself arguing with someone who just wants to argue? Well, conflict resolution is just right for you! One strategy to practice conflict resolution is verbal communication. Talking it out is sometimes the best thing you can do. Another is written communication, just like talking it out, written communication, like texting help a lot.
My Personal Experience With Dating Guidelines
I have never had a healthy relationship, most of them have been very un-healthy so I can't speak on behalf of healthy relationships. As for conflict resolution strategies, I find myself arguing with my friends all the time. The best way to resolve the problem is by talking it out, it's really the best thing you can do.
Sexting Guidelines
Sexting is the act of sending explicit photos or messages via phone or computer. Sexting is a growing problem in the new generation.
How Is Sexting Used
When one sexts, they send photos or messages via programs like Snapchat or iMessage.

The Dangers of Sexting
Like all good things in life, sexting has it's bad side. If the wrong person gets a hold of what you sent to another person, they could spread that around or worse. It just isn't worth it.
The Consequences of Sexting
While the consequences of sexting aren't dangerous, they are pretty costly and embarrassing. If you send photos or messages to someone you don't trust completely, they could spread them around.
Personal Experience With Sexting
I don't have very much personal experience with sexting because I know it is wrong. The consequences outweigh anything good that comes out of it.
Dating Violence
Dating violence is a growing epidemic in American youth. There are three types of dating violence, psychical, sexual, & emotional. Psychical violence can range from punching to leaving bruises & breaking bones. Sexual violence is committing a sexual act when the other partner hasn't given consent, & emotional violence is playing with the other partners emotions.
Cycles of Dating Violence
There are 3 stages in a dating violence cycle. There's the tension stage, which includes yelling, swearing & threats. Next is the Violence stage. In this stage, the partners use psychical, verbal or sexual attacks. The final stage is the seduction stage. This is when the abusive partner apologizes & promises to change.

Recources
Luckily, we live in the 21st century. Websites and hotlines are out there if you are experiencing dating violence. If the violence continues, leave the abusive partner. Break the cycle.
Sexual Harassment
There are 2 main types of sexual harassment classified by federal law. Quid pro quo and hostile work environment. Quid pro quo is the act of hiring, and firing for sexual favors. Hostile work environment is when an employee's work environment is violated sexually by another employee.
Response To Sexual Harassment
Being sexually harassed in the work place is extremely uncomfortable and uncalled for. If you find yourself being sexually harassed, notify your higher ups. If the person harassing you is your higher up, notify the authorities.
