First you will need to chop down a tree its not a fun thing but its very nessasary.

Second craft a crafting table so you will be able to make weapons and make a good home.

Third you completed all that ok this is where it gets tricky you will need to make a pickaxe but depending on what you want to mine it could be diamond, gold,emerald which means you will need an iron pic gold pic or diamond. To mine stone you only need wood or stone to mine iron you need stone or better. You will also need to smelt in a furnace.

you dont want to mine up or down because lava could come crashing down on you and die and lose all your mats. and end up like this pig.

second thing is that if you get up safley and then soon you will run in to a guy in a black van offering you lollypop and you go into his van(that is if your supid enough)if you get the candy and go into his van go play sandbox and your a noob.

ok maybe im being a peice of cold toast. but you will find these peices of ore in caves.

dimond ore is the most valuble peice of ore. first you want to find a decent cave find some coal ore then you find some iron(or gold but lets stick with iron for now)the you make a furnace you need 8 stone peices then you need some thing to smelt i perfeer wood(or charcoal both good).

i also perfeer lava. lava can smelt up to 100 blocks but you find them in caves.you also find iron in caves.iron you need to make a bucket you need a a bucket to get lava in it that the only way to transfer it.
