Today I tried to teach my friend, Squid, to eat a whole shark. He tried to eat a shark like me because I’m big enough to eat a whole shark. Squid tried but the shark ate Squid instead.

Today was the first day of school. I couldn’t wait to start school. I heard Mrs. Hudson is so nice. At the end of the school day, I learned that octopuses are so smart they can crawl into a bottle.

Remember how I told you octopuses are very smart? Well, I tried to crawl into a bottle but then I got stuck. Luckily, I found my way out of the bottle. I guess octopuses are super smart after all.

Dear Diary,

Today I was playing outside by the corals. Then, the coolest thing happened, I changed to the color blue. I told my parents and they said I changed color because of my mood and surroundings. Isn't that neat?

Dear Diary,

Today my mother laid her eggs. She said she has to guard  her eggs for four to eight weeks before they will hatch. I can’t wait to see my new siblings.

Dear Diary,

I can’t believe my mother’s eggs hatched today! I now have five sisters and brothers. I am also not that happy that I have new siblings because I have to feed them, clean them, and change them. Plus there are ten of them. They also eat smaller prey like lobster and crab but I eat bigger prey like sharks.
