I would like to dedicate this story to all my future students. I hope you all learn to love History as much as I do!

"Listen, my children, and you shall hear
Of the midnight ride of Paul Revere,
On the eighteenth of April, in Seventy-Five:
Hardly a man is now alive
Who remembers that famous day and year."
- Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Good Morning children, have you heard about me?
I am Paul Revere, from the Colonial Army.
I am famous for my ride to warn about the British.
But I began my life as a simple Boston silversmith.
To learn my whole story we must go back to the beginning.
Back to the North End of Boston where I was Living.
I went to school until I was thirteen.
Then I went to work with my father, apprenticing.
My Father died in 1574,
so I enlisted in the French and Indian War.
After 7 years, the war came to a stop,
so I went back home to work at my silversmith shop
But then the British created the Stamp Act,
that hurt my business and others, that's a fact.
So we men joined together to become the Son's of Liberty,
and we threw British cargo overboard at the Boston Tea Party!
The Revolutionary War began,
and I became a special kind of mailman.
I went on many rides to deliver secret information,
This was very important and I took no vacations.
I took this job very seriously,
because it led to my ride that I am known for so famously.
