Saving Spells

A story about the importance of saving

Once upon a time, there was a little girl from a little town. Her name was Lilly.

One day, while she was playing in the woods by her house, she met a wizard!

The wizard told her that he needed her help. He lost all of his spells and needed her help saving them.

I need your help! My spells are missing!

"If you wish to help me, you must collect 3 spells. If you hold on to those three spells and don't use them, you will get an extra spell as a reward! If you use them, you must work harder to find another spell. " The wizard told Lilly. And with that, she was off to find the spells

Lilly found the first spell in a pond near the village where she lived. It was written on a piece of paper in a bottle

"Use this spell to defeat trolls who reside underneath bridges. After the troll is defeated, you may pass safely."

And with that, Lilly was on her way.

Lilly came across a bridge with a troll standing guard. She knew she could use her spell to get past the troll, but then she wouldn't have any spells- and wouldn't get the extra spell at the end of her quest! What was she going to do?
