Once upon a time there were five lucky pigs who lived in Peppermint 

Hills.   Where the grass was peppermint flavored and their homes were 

made of giant cupcakes.   This is what they thought made them lucky 

pigs.

The first pig’s name is Sterling who is a blue pig and he likes to gather 

the peppermint candy.   Sterling lives in a giant blue cupcake house.

The next pig’s name is Penelope who is a pink pig and likes to pick 

flowers and make friends.   Penelope lives in a giant pink cupcake house.

The next pig’s name is Bert who is a green pig and he likes to play in the 

dirt.   Bert lives in the giant green cupcake house.

The next pig’s name is Melvin who is a yellow pig and he likes to eat 

Popsicles.   Melvin lives in the giant yellow cupcake house.

The last pig’s name is Henry who is an orange pig and he likes to eat 

anything orange.   Henry lives in the giant orange cupcake house.

One day the lucky pigs decided to take a trip around the world and 

hand out candy.   All the pigs cheered and started to sing, “Lucky 

pigs, lucky pigs, lucky pigs traveling around the world handing out 

candy!   Isn’t life dandy!”

Sterling started to gather the peppermint candy.   Penelope gathered 

flowers to put in her hair for the trip.   Bert took one last mud bath.  

Melvin grabbed some popsicles for the road.   Henry packed some 

oranges, carrots, and his lucky orange hat and boots.

So the five lucky pigs were packed and ready for their adventure.  

They met up with their friend Polka-Dot-Pip who is a flying horse 

and in charge of their flight.   The pigs would ride on her back and 

she would lead the way.

Sterling, Penelope, Bert, Melvin and Henry hopped aboard Polk-Dot-

Pip and left Peppermint Hills to their first stop Shanghai, China.

The pigs arrived in China and walked down the street. Sterling 

saw a boy on the street named Kiy and asked him if he wanted 

some peppermint candy.   Kiy thanked him for the candy and 

headed off to karate camp.  

Penelope met a girl named Juje and gave her some daisies for 

her hair.   Juje loved them.   They all left China for their next 

stop.

The next stop was Melbourne, Australia where the lucky pigs met 

a kangaroo named Happy.   Happy showed Bert a big mud puddle 

to jump in and he soaked in it all day.  

Melvin handed out Popsicles to a family of koala bears who were 

delighted to try them.   They hopped aboard Polka-Dot-Pip and 

left Australia.

The next stop was Honolulu, Hawaii where the lucky pigs landed 

on Waikiki Beach.   Henry spotted an orange beach ball to play 

with and ate an orange mango.  

Penelope wanted to try surfing.   She found a perfect pink surf 

board and road a huge wave!   The pigs thought Hawaii was 

amazing and were sad to leave.
