Have a good summer.

It was the day of joy for King Amphitryon and his children, at least so one thought..
Morning had risen and the sun was shining brightly. Prince Kee, Princess Ionia, and the youngest sibling of only 4 years, Princess Marina, had awaken with a breakfast of delight; eggs, barley porridge, sun-dried grapes, and figs which are a fruit with sweet dark flesh and seeds within it.
Once done eating, Prince Kee had announced, “We shall take an all-day trip at the sea!”
And after a moment of silence, gentle Princess Ionia replied, “That’s a lovely idea, brother, however I believe it would be best if Marina is to stay here for her own relaxation and safety.”
“I absolutely agree. Then I suppose all matters are set?” Prince Kee responded.
Marina nodded stating, “Thank you Ionia and Kee, I would not had like to go.”
Grinning, laughter escaped from the children and Ionia packing the necessities for lunch and dinner at sea. After a good hour when all required items were prepared for the day long sailing, Prince Kee and Princess Ionia had told their father, the King, of this event he had agreed with his eldest children!
Before noon, Prince Kee and Princess Ionia had set sail in two boats, Princess Ionia in one with the supplies while Prince Kee in the other, intending to guide Princess Ionia with his experience of boats.
Waving farewell towards their father and sister, Ionia and Kee set sail into the welcoming sea of beauty, aesthetic to the senses of all. When distant from shore, Princess Ionia became distracted for a moment with the sea’s remarking, jaw- dropping stunningness of gentle, teal color and marine animals swimming gracefully.
As this occurred, she began drifting away from her brother. Once realizing she attempted to sail towards him, however ceased her struggling and sang a hymn, in which was taught to her by her kindhearted mother before the death happened, to calm her worrying. The hymn was a classic and became known by all people as memory of her. This hymn was seemingly heard and a lovely melody came from the rocks nearby in which she had flowed towards by the ocean’s currents.
As Princess Ionia came nearer, still singing, a siren appeared, singing along, with her grey colored wings , sparkling deep blue eyes, and pleasant facial structures. As both sang with eyes shut, truly experiencing and relating to the melody, the hymn was gone and as Princess Ionia gradually opened her eyes, the siren had disappeared from sight.
Princess Ionia was bewildered, however not frightened one bit of this tender lady. At last Princess Ionia had become prepared to set sail and headed into the direction to where her brother had gone.
Meanwhile with Prince Kee, he had eventually became attentive and discovered his sister was not following behind. When panicking for a solid 10 minutes and attempting to strategize an idea of to where she could have drifted away, Princess Ionia came smiling with perfect, white teeth, one all had desired and thought of as ideal.
Kee was absolutely enthused to have seen her unharmed and in relaxed manner in contrast to him, and when she was commencing to speak, then SWOOSH! Silence, bewilderness, afraidness, tragedy, and crying.
Prince Kee was in absolute silent and his mind replayed the vision of Ionia disappearing by some sort of winged- creature.
Prince Kee solemnly returned to Cephalonia, sobbing desperately. His father came rushing from the home of theirs and asked worriedly, “Why have you begun crying my boy? And where is Ionia?”
Prince Kee murmured in frustration, confusion, and commandment, “Something has took her.” Silence broke. “A creature, something took her! And I highly doubt she’ll come back. Why, father? Why did I not see? How could I have done this? Tell me, father! Why?"
In odd way, the King replied in understandment, “This isn’t your fault.”
“Yes! Yes, it is! How, just how could I have done this! I now understand how mother became taken because if me. It’s my fault.”
Now don’t you say this, son. You’ve gone too far. None of this is any of your fault,” King Amphitryon replied in a demanding voice. “All happens for a reason.”
“And the reason was all because of me,” Kee replied furiously and stomped inside the home to have seen Marina peering out the window, gaining tears, and blamed himself additionally.
Prince Kee wept for the day, entirely, and memorial took place the very next during the time of night. All was quiet for a month of mourning and frustration due to his thoughts of blame. All would not be merely comparable to the days spent with Ionia and her generous, serene personality...
A year had gone by, the memories have still sustained rather than subsided and although the memories would not leave, the past events that have taken place were accustomed and no different to when Ionia was there. Prince Kee was once again rejoiced with happiness given to him by Princess Marina as well as the King given to him from his children’s joy. It was a lovely and bright day for a trek into the village and Prince Kee began to stroll along the paths, greeting villagers with his tender smile and “Hellos”, however there was seemingly distress arising in his thoughts of security in Cephalonia for when in his stroll, all his people and citizens were not in their specified given locations of homes and while returning home in the night although this has stabilized a position in his mind, he chose to drift asleep choosing to think of thoughts that his people were only in their labor or on trip, not gone.
It was the next morning and the sun was hidden behind clouds of grey puff, and other than sleeping in to eat breakfast, Prince Kee dressed himself with a brown, caramel shirt, matching his exact hair and eye color and sauntered into the village once again. The Prince had chosen to conduct some sort of investigation this morning due to the reason of his pessimistic theories to what may have come to his people and of course when in the village, the peasants were seemingly decreasing in each block. Prince Kee had concluded to take action and came home to report what he has seen. “Father!” shouted Kee.
“I’m here, my boy,” responded King Amphitryon from behind.
Turning around in haste Prince Kee hurriedly said, “Father, the people have been disappearing in some odd way.”
“What are you meaning by, disappearing?” King Amphitryon replied in a concerned manner.
“Well, when I took the walk just yesterday and today, the peasants were not in their homes nor in their labor. And I have been wondering if I shall take the journey in the sea” Prince Kee hesitantly stated.
“SON! I cannot allow you to take the risk of being taken. I’ve already lost one of you. And I cannot lose another!” King Amphitryon roared, emphasizing the word, cannot.
“But father, Must I remind you what has occurred in the past? I now have the ability to redeem myself in consciousness,” Kee responded
“Oh, my son. Please don’t form any vision of what has happened before and I beg you, do not go,” King Amphitryon urged.
Sighing Prince Kee countered, “Father, I must go... or Cephalonia will no longer have its stability in population and the forces of the enemies will pounce, taking the island from our country. I will not permit this to transpire and if you would, I would like to hope the best of your consequences. I’d also like to gain final peace within myself, for the better of life.”
Silence filed in the corridor and Amphitryon finally spoke, “Okay, my son. I shall allow you to become happy and you’re interpretation, generosity, and influence towards Cephalonia has become stated in the direction of benefits, but Kee, please take precautions when in sea. I request this of you. And Kee, if you would like to defeat this creature with victory, won’t you visit the gods in the temple east of here? If your intentions are pure, they will lend assistance of magic, however if not, they shall not.”
