It's Monday morning; Cynthia and Crystal are getting ready for the first day of grade 7. On their way to school, Crystal and Cynthia called each other and agreed to meet in the cafeteria. Cynthia and Crystal are best friends. They knew each other since they were in JK. They went to the same school together and they both love gymnastics and candy. They see each other four times a week during the summer time and each day during the school year. Now off to school!!! 

When Cynthia and Crystal came to school, they met at the cafeteria and with them was Ashley. Ashley was their other best friend. They call each other the CCA (which stood for Ashley, Cynthia, and Crystal). The girls were talking about their summer and what they have done. When the bell rang; which meant class is starting, all three girls ran to their class and sat down at their desks. 

This is are homeroom class Ms.K's room, said Ashley. In that class, there were McKenna and Carol. McKenna is an old friend but she turned really mean and Carol is also a good friend. But McKenna likes to show off and be always in the spotlight but Carol is nice and loves to read books. Then Ms. K came in and said please have a seat class.

"Good morning class. If you are new here, welcome and if you have been in this school before, welcome back. My name is Ms. K and I am your homeroom teacher. May I have Cynthia, Crystal, Ashley and Cathleen come to my desk please?" "Welcome back girls, I would like you to meet Cathleen. She is new here and I thought you would be the best people to show her around the school." "We would be honored to show Cathline around" said Cynthia. 

What a day, "yeah what a day" said Cynthia and Crystal, "we showed Cathleen the whole school even the basement...my legs hurt" said Cynthia.   She added saying, "Is it just me or the new girl, Cathleen, looks a little like one of McKenna's old friends?" Now McKenna was a popular girl but she was mean and had a lot of attitude said Ashley. "No i think she seems nice but you never know" replied Cynthia and Crystal. "Hi mom" said Ashley. "Hi girls, your moms are downstairs" said Ashley' mom. A few minutes later, both Cynthia and Crystal left home.

That evening, Cynthia called Crystal and Ashley to ask them if they know how to answer one of their homework questions. Ashley helped her friends out and took the time to explain the homework. Crystal, on the other hand, was very bored and she suggested they call Cathleen sto see if they would all go out together.  

So all three girls along with their new friend, decided to go out for icecream. They all took permission from their parents and met at the icecream store nearby.

"Hey guys! How are you", said Ashely. "I am so happy to do something fun together!"

"I know!" replied Cynthia. "I was so bored doing my homework. I too wanted to take a quick break." ereplied Cathleen.
