Lebron Raymone James was born on December 30th, 1984, in the city of Akron, Ohio.
James played high school basketball at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron.
As a senior, he was already projected to go to the NBA as a top draft pick.
Lebron James was taken as the #1 overall pick by his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers.
In his first season, James won Rookie of the year and lead the Cavaliers to their best season since 1998.
By his third NBA season, James was already a 2-time All-star and led the Cavaliers to the playoffs.
In 2007, Lebron led the Cavaliers to their first ever Eastern Conference championship.
The Cavaliers would face the San Antonio Spurs in the 2007 NBA Finals, but the series would end in a sweep (4-0) for the Spurs.
