Annelid (Earth Worms)

Respiration
Annelids breathe 2 different ways depending on their environment. Annelids that live in water breathe through gills like fish where air is exchanged. The majority of annelids breathe through the exchange of gas through their skin called cutaneous exchange.
Circulation
Annelids have a closed circulation system. Their blood is pumped by the aortic arches and transported up and down the Ventral and Dorsal Vessles

Nutrition and food Getting
Annelids eat your garbage. They eat decomposing trash including apple cores and banana peels. They will also eat decomposing roots, trees, and other dead organisms. Worms are decomposers so they eat whatever they can whenever they can.

Digestion
The worm eats the food through its mouth where after it travels down the into the crop and gizzard where its broken down. Then it goes into the intestine where nutrients are absorbed. After this the waste is removed through the excretory pores and anus.
