A long, long time ago there was a legend about a monster that lived in a lake called Ness, near a little village of Scotland.

There is a monster in the lake!

Yes! It is big and eats children!

No one had ever seen the monster but people said that the monster was as big as a football field. They also said that the monster had four eyes and ate the children who were near the lake. 

Jake, a child who lived near the area, decided to explore the lake because he didn't believe the people. He also thought that if the monster was real it couldn't be so bad.
