Make Pancakes

It was Zazou's big day. Today was his birthday!

Excited, he got out of bed, got dressed

and went to the kitchen to eat breakfast.

He ran into the room and shouted "Yay! Happy Birthday to Mmm...hey! Where is everybody?"

Zazou was confused. There was nobody in the kitchen AND no breakfast!

Zazou was very hungry so he checked to see if there was any food left. On the table he found a strange note written in funny letters. The note said:

Happy Birthday Zazou!

Outside, there was a large crate with a Happy Birthday sign. Zazou heard funny noises inside.

Suddenly, the box started to rumble and jumble!

POP!

BAM!

Inside the box was a ROBOT!

"Wow!" shouted Zazou. "My very own robot!"

"Did you come from another planet?"

"No", said the robot.

"I came from a factory".

"And now for your birthday

I have a surprise for you!"

The robot started making

whizzing and whirring noises!

whizzzz..

POP!

whirrrrr.....

POP!

Sitting on the sidewalk were TWO brand new

SKATEBOARDS!!

The robot jumped on one of the skateboards. "HOP ON!" said the robot to Zazou. "It's time to goto school for your PANCAKE PARTY!!"

"PANCAKES!! OH YEAH!"

Zazou jumped on his new skateboard and

rode down the street with the robot to school.
