The Women At The Tomb

Mary the mother of James, Joanna, Mary, Magdalene, and salome went to the tomb to see Jesus. An angel of the Lord then appeared to them and said "Do not be afraid!" The angel then began to tell them that Jesus is not here because he has risen from the dead. The women were no longer afraid. He then told them to tell his brothers in Galilee about him. The message this shows is to never fear the Lord and to tell people good news about Christ.

Mary Magdalene

Mary Magdalene was crying outside of the tomb. Two angels then saw her and asked her why she was crying. She then told them that they have taken her Lord. She then saw Jesus but didn't recognize him at first. When she finally realized it was Jesus that she saw Jesus told her, "Stop holding onto me." Mary then announced to the disciples that she had seen the Lord. The message this shows is that we are never alone because Jesus us always watching over us.

Jesus Appears To His Disciples

Jesus appears to the disciples and says to them, " peace be with you." The disciples were then startled because they couldn't believe their eyes. Jesus then shows them his hands and feet to prove its actually him. The disciples became overly happy. Jesus then opens their minds so they can then understand the scriptures better. He then tells the disciples he will send them what his father promised. The message this shows is that Jesus will always be here to enlightened our minds..

Jesus And Thomas

Thomas and Jesus' disciples were at the house a week later, when Jesus came and granted them peace. Jesus puts Thomas' finger on his side and hands so he can believe and stop doubting. Thomas then said to him, "My Lord and my God." Jesus then tells him that he now believes because he has seen. He blesses those who have not seen but still always believed. The message this shows is that to never doubt and always believe in Christ if you have not yet seen him. He is always with us even if we cant see him, hes with us spiritually.
