Dedicated to my Mom and Nick Dretke

One day in the African Desert, a man named Edgar hatched an evil plan...

When all the Elephants were sleeping, he would remove their tusks.
The tusks were worth a lot of money on the shady black market

The poor tusk-less elephants could not dig up pools of water, and became very lazy.
Careless Edgar sat and counted his money with a smug smile on his face

One day a magical wizard approached Edgar and warned him to stop harming the elephants.

The Wizard warned him that the bad things would happen if there were no Elephants.
But still, Edgar collected the tusks

So the Wizard decided Edgar needed to learn his lesson, and cast a magic spell that moved the elephants far away.

Without the Elephants, changes soon began.
The trees that elephants ate grew wildly, blocking out sunlight and making the grass run away.

Without elephants, the local zoo ran out of business.
