There once was a boy named Isaiah Granet who lived in the beautiful city of San Diego, California...

And this boy noticed a problem that needed to be fixed.

And Isaiah's Bar Mitzvah project started to make a difference for the that problem...

He wanted to do something that he could continue to do and something that had to do with his passion hockey.

And that's when the San Diego Chill came to be...

The Chill is a completely free hockey team for special needs kids who often don't have the chance to play sports because of money.

The Chill now meet every Saturday for a half hour and have received tons of help and volunteers to keep the program going.

Isaiah is helping the problem of special needs kids not having the opportunity to play sports. Over 25% of special needs kids do not play sports at least ten times a year.
