I bet you have heard stories about swans where they are lovely, graceful and gentle creatures. Well I'm afraid that version of swans is the fairy tale one. This story is about what happens when swans get mad. I warn you now that it is not for the faint of heart. Are you brave enough to turn the next page?

It wasn't a dark and stormy night ... actually it was just a sunny autumn afternoon. Bonnie and Luca were walking out by the river with their friends Maia, Lucia and Jacob. Bonnie and Luca warned their friends that when the swans are angry they can bite. But Jacob already knew what swans could be like. Jacob had sworn vengeance against the swans after they flew at his mum and flapped their large, powerful wings at her. His mother, Bianca, is a kind lady and she did not deserve such treatment.

The children approached the river bank cautiously. Maia and Lucia enjoyed watching the swans glide gracefully along. But when the swans realised that we had no food for them they became angry. The largest one said "Your food or your life!" Bonnie tried to explain that we had no food to give them. "That's not good enough!", the swan replied. "That mistake will cost you your life!" We retreated up the river bank, trying to look for an escape route.

Jacob pulled out his sword (it was actually a stick) and he waved it threateningly at the swans. "I warn you, don't pick a fright with my friends", said Jacob. The swan cackled and said in his evil swany voice "You have no chance against me, young boy" Jacob thrust his stick at the swan, hitting him on the beak. All of his razor sharp teeth feel out.

Suddenly, he called for his reinforcements. A hundred swans rushed up behind him. But Jacob squashed the leader swan flat with his sword (that was actually a stick) and threw a bomb (actually a rock) at the other swans. They fell down dead in the water from the blast. "That will be the last we see of them!", said Jacob. But Maia noticed that the leader swan was slowly rising up from its death. It was followed by the others. Now there 101 angry swanbies (zombie swans) who were ready to fight.
