Eva Peron was born May 7, 1919, and died in 1952 at 33 years old. Born in Los Toldos, Argentina, and lived most of her life in Buenos Aires Province.

Eva was married to Juan Peron, who became President of Argentina. She used her position as first lady to fight for women's suffrage and improving the lives of the poor.

Eva grew up poor, dreaming of becoming an actress. Although her father was wealthy, he already had a wife and kids; so she, her mom and 4 other sibling were his second family, and grew up in poverty. When she was 15, she moved to Buenos Aires and found work with the theater. At 20, she started her own entertainment company. Then became married to Juan Peron in 1945, becoming first lady the following year. She was asked to run as Vice President alongside her husband 5 years later, but ended up turning it down due to cervical cancer.
