There once was a young squirrel named Brandon who loved spending his money on the newest technology for finding his nuts. Brandon was surfing the internet one day when he saw an advertisement about retirement. After reading this advertisement he decided that he didn't want to run out of money when he grew older so he should put money away now.

Brandon went to the smartest person he knew, his best friend Lilly the rabbit. Brandon told her of this magnificent idea he had seen on the internet about retirement savings and she just laughed.
Lilly said to him, "You don't think that with my spending habits I don't already have one of these already set up?"
Brandon looked at her puzzled about why she had not already told him.

Lilly went on to explain that she has a 401(k) plan that is automatically taken out of her paycheck so she never has to worry when she reaches the retirement age. Brandon decided that her playing it safe was not his way to save, he wanted to invest.

Brandon played the stock market and invested in many different business ventures, hoping for enough returns in the end to fund his lavish retirement plan. Brandon decided that after awhile investing was getting to be too much for him to handle so he found a online brokerage corporation to do it for him.
