"Wait, take another picture!" demanded Marissa. Julia holds on tight to her I-phone as they smile and move their heads in perfect little angles. Julia looked down at her phone for approval and looks over to Marissa "I'm going to post it and tag some of our friends." Julia told Marissa that in her drama class, she heard Lala and Alec talking about a new social media website called "BOSSIP."

Marissa immediately downloads the app "BOSSIP."

"Julia, I just posted a picture of us and some random person made a comment " said Marissa. "Marissa is your account not set on private?" asked Julia. "Absolutely not and I don't care" Marissa replied back. " I don't think your mom will be too happy about this, don't you think?" asked Julia. Marissa looked at Julia and said " What could possibly go wrong?"

"Good morning Marissa!" said Marissa's mother as she enters the kitchen without making eye contact. "Marissa...Marissa... Marissa Camille!!" yelled Marissa's mother. It took Marissa about a minute to finally look up and notice that her mother was standing right in front of her. " Oh, yes mom! Hi and good morning."

"You need to get off your phone and eat your breakfast" said Marissa's mother. "Can I walk home after school with Julia today?" asked Marissa.

" Sure, as long as you can tell me when you have left the campus and when you arrive at Julia's, Ok Marissa?" asked Marissa's mother. "Yes mom, of course!" Marissa replied . As Marissa headed out the front door she starts to text and mumble "Happy Monday! headed to school and walking to school." Marissa changes her status update on BOSSIP and enables her GPS location.

"Hey look over there... it's Marissa!"

On the way to school Marissa runs into some of her classmates.

" Hello Lala, Alec, Jen, and Chris! How are you guys doing?" asked Marissa. " We're doing great!" said Alec.

"I love your new purse Marissa" said Lala. "Thank you, oh and uh nice outfit.... sike!" Marissa mumbled quietly under her breath but Lala heard everything.

Marissa quickly heads to class before the bell rings and sits down next to Julia.

"Hey Bestie!" Marissa said happily. " OMG! Did you see what Lala was wearing today?" Marissa asked Julia.

" Lala had on this ugly looking yellow dress, I mean who would wear such an ugly outfit to school ?" asked Marissa, with a confused look on her face. " I know right?!" Julia responded.

Marissa takes her cell phone out of her purse and logs on to BOSSIP. She took another "selfie" portrait and posted it. Moments later Julia posted a comment on Marissa's picture.

dresses to school HAHAHAHA ....

What was Lala thinking when she woke up this morning...so lame?!"

Marissa and Julia are on the way to their next class and they see Lala standing by her locker. Lala looks right at them and with tears running down her face. Both Marissa and Julia acted as if they didn't know why she was crying.
