There was a little boy named Arjun who loved going to school.

He loved art class the most.

“Good morning kids!

Are you ready to do

something exciting?”

asked Miss Nurul.

Arjun and his classmates jumped with joy.

“Do you know what day is coming up?” Miss Nurul questioned.

“My Birthday!” Qifu shouted.

“Singapore's Birthday!” Afiz cheered.

“No, no, Friday!” Arjun yelled.

She explained about Valentines’ Day and said,

 “You are all going to make Origami Hearts by yourselves”.

Miss Nurul laughed.

“No, children, it’s Valentine’s Day!”

She started giving out envelopes.

Everyone was confused.

“What’s this for, Miss Nurul?” Arjun asked.

Arjun was shocked!

“All by myself?” Arjun wondered.

When Arjun went home, he opened the envelope.

He took out a red Origami paper followed by another paper with instructions.

Arjun ran to show it to his grandfather.

“Thatha! Thatha! Look!”

“What is it, Arjun?”

His grandfather asked.

Arjun explained his

art homework.

“Do you know how to fold

Origami Hearts?”

Arjun asked.

“Yes!” His grandfather said.

"Can you help me?"

“I don’t think so, Arjun.

You should follow the instructions.”

Arjun thought he could do it without the instructions so he pushed it away and started folding the red paper.

Arjun folded...

and folded...

and folded.
