To all math lovers

Hello! I am Freddie the frog. Frogs are interesting animals that belong to a group called amphibians. They go through a process called metamorphosis.

Metamorphosis is a process where animals change form at least twice in their lifetime. Butterflies also go through metamorphosis.

Frogs start out as eggs. A frog can lay as many as 4,000 eggs at a time! These eggs turn into tadpoles. Tadpoles are small fish-like creatures. They have a body and a tail.

Eventually, tadpoles grow arms and legs and turn into froglets. These froglets still have tails and live in water. The tail slowly goes away, and the froglets become frogs.

Frogs like to lounge on lily pads. There are 6 frogs on the lily pads and 4 jump off. If 2 jump back on, how many frogs are left on the lily pads?

Frogs like to eat flies. When one flies by, the frog sticks out its tongue and pulls the fly into its mouth.

Two frogs are on a lily pad and see a fly. Frog 1 is 7 inches from the fly, and frog 2 is 4 inches from the fly. How much closer to the fly is frog 2 than frog 1?

Frogs can stay underwater for hours! If a frog goes underwater at 2:00 p.m. and swims around for 3 1/2 hours, what time will it be when they come out of the water?

Answers
Problem 1- Answer= 4 frogs
Problem 2- Answer= 3 inches
Problem 3- Answer= 5:30 p.m
